Lombardi Winner Delivers

While Penn State was known as Linebacker U, John Cooper and Jim Tressel had their share of linebackers in the 1990's and 2000's.  One of the best linebackers during that time was A.J. Hawk, a two-time All-American in 2004 and 2005.  He also won the prestigious Lombardi Award after recording 121 tackles (69 solo) and scoring two touchdowns (blocked punt and a pick six) in his senior season.

In the 2005 Fiesta Bowl, Hawk was the game's Most Valuable Player after the Buckeyes defeated his future brother-in-law Brady Quinn and Notre Dame.  A couple months later, the Green Bay Packers made him the fifth overall pick and he has led the team in tackles six of his seven seasons for the Packers.

I am very excited to add A.J. Hawk's autograph to my All-American collection.  Thank you, Mr. Hawk!
